Annul- vb. to declare invalid
Anecdote- n. a short or amusing story about a real incident or person
Insolence- adj. showing a rude and arrogant lack of respect
Churlish- adj. rude in a mean-spirited and surly way
Irate-adj. feeling characterized by great anger
Efficacy- n. the ability to produce a desired or intended result
Cajole- vb. persuade someone to do something by sustained coaxing or flattery
Dastardly- adj. wicked and cruel
Pummel- vb. strike repeatedly typically with the fists
Perspicacity- adj. having a ready insight into and understanding or things
Quell- vb. put an end to, typically by the use of force
Chagrin- n. distress or embarrassment at having failed or been humiliated
Assiduously- adj. showing great care and perseverance
Maliciously- adj. intended to do harm
