Write a story about why the witches are after Macbeth.
"We surmised that Macbeth would be king. Now Macbeth has killed King Duncan and taken his place. Our plan is almost complete. It's only a matter of time before people realize that Macbeth killed the Duncan," the oldest witch told her sisters.
"We need to start planting the thoughts into Banquo's head. Deep down he knows that the guards didn't kill the king. He has undivulged Macbeth's secret for too long!" the middle sister exclaimed.
"But we must chastise ourselves sister. We can't fill his head with a surfeit amount of details," the youngest witch interjected.
"If we gave him to much information, he wouldn't feel the need to kill Macbeth, he would tell everyone. Banquo only needs to know that Macbeth killed Duncan. If there was too much information in his head, he would prate to the citizens," the oldest sister replied.
"Exactly, and we don't want another babbling moron. Now when Banquo figures out that Macbeth killed Duncan, he will be dauntless and confront Macbeth. Macbeth will deny everything. Banquo will charge Macbeth and kill him. Lady Macbeth will see everything," the youngest said.
"What will she do sister?" the middle sister asked.
"She will start to scream and run but something in Banquo will know that she had something to do with Duncan's death. He will chase after her and murder her too. Banquo will tell the citizens everything the next morning. They will insist that he become the new king. But on the night of his crowning, Lady Banquo will murder him so his son will be king..."
"Fulfilling the prophecy," the oldest witch finished.
